Instructions - Responding
For each of the following 16 key indicators read the descriptors at both ends of the table. Then click the number which corresponds to how you see your team:
i.e. here you would click on 1 if you think your team members are very unclear about their roles and responsibilities. This may be because of turf wars or simply because the team is young and as yet, roles and responsibilities haven't been discussed or agreed.
Or you would click on 9 if you think your team members are very clear about who does what because they have discussed, and agreed, their roles and responsibilities.
Then, in the next row, click on the number that represents how you expect the team to be performing at this stage of its development.
The following example shows a team which is ahead of the game with team members being clearer (8) about their roles and responsibilities than expected (6) at this stage of the team's development.

Roles and responsibilities are unclear. Team members do not understand what they or their colleagues do or are responsible for. There are role overlaps and/or gaps.
