NEBOSH General Certificate

Anyone looking for an accredited health and safety qualification should seriously consider the NEBOSH General Certificate qualification. This is one of the most well-known and highly regarded of health and safety qualifications along with the NEBOSH Diploma and various MSc programmes, and is sought after by many prospective employers. A NEBOSH General Certificate course will also be eligible for Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) funding for those who have left or are about the leave the armed forces.

The NEBOSH General Certificate is designed to provide a general overview of a wide variety of the most common risks and hazards that can be encountered in the majority of workplaces and industries. These include the control of hazardous substances (coshh), fire risks, electricity, tools and equipment, psychological risks and environmental considerations to name just a few.

Those who attain the qualification can then also take a NEBOSH Fire or NEBOSH Construction Certificate course without having to repeat the NGC1 unit which is common to all of them, which saves both time and money compared with having to do the full courses for each.

The BCF Group provide health and safety training including running NEBOSH General Certificate courses at venues across the UK. If you have a few employees who require the training, you can have an in-house course where the training is provided at your premises, which eliminates the need for the delegates to all travel to one of the locations.
